So while I have many SFX make-up artists that I like such as Peter King, Rick Baker and Greg Nicotero to name a few I also have a few fashion/normal make-up artists that I like.
First up:
Charlotte Tilbury
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my favorite fashion make-up artists because her make-up looks are sensual, fun and also focuses on enhancing the face not hiding it under layers and layers of make-up. Charlotte started experimenting with make-up quite young and enrolled in Glauca Rossi School of Makeup in London, she started her career by assisting a makeup artist called Mary Greenwell who was also her mentor.
Since then she has gone on to feature in magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Love and many more, she has also done fashion shows with famed brands such as Tom Ford, Donna Karen and Missoni. In 2012 she launched a YouTube channel showcasing her talents but also sharing tips and tricks with others and then promoting her products which she released into the world in September of 2013.

These are both promotional images for her makeup collection. I like the first image because I love the old Hollywood feel you get from it also the angled smokey eye with the glossy red lips, the makeup is glamorous but edgy at the same time.
The second image is similar to the first yet this look is a little more dewy than the first and all the focus is drawn to the eyes which are in a gorgeous smoky red brown shade that complements the model beautifully.
This image is a promotional image that Charlotte did for Tom Ford Beauty, it showcase a model with smoked out wing shadow, glossy red lips, natural blush ad a flawless base. This look is stunning and complements the model perfectly but also showcases the brands quality as the lipstick and eye shadow seem richly pigmented and thus good quality.
I also love the fact that all her models include natural brows that perfectly frame the eye makeup.
Next up:
Einat Dan
Is a high fashion makeup artist and body painter and also owns her own line of affordable brushes called M.I.A which are synethic and made in Germany. Her clients are also high class brands such as Valentino, Fendi, Vivienne Westwood and Jean Paul Gaultier among many others. Her work has also been featured in publications such as Vogue, Elle, Mazim and Tatler. The reason I like her work is because while some of her designs are high fashion they include an avan garde style that instead of overpowering the beauty makeup it enhances it and creates something unusal but still beautiful to look at.
Fendi
These images are from the fashion house Fendi which Einat did make-up for I love the use of body paint in these images and how they compliment not only the accessory that is still clearly visible but also the background.
Hong Kong Tatler.
This makeup was inspired by marble thus the swatches of white running through the black, I like this image because again the jewellary stands out against the black. The black color though isn't flat, the black paint looks lumnious and brings so much life to the image.
