Another day, another runway

Another day another runway, today I will be looking at the Balenciaga Spring/ Summer 2014 collection this was show that included a lot of monochromatic outfits with pops of color thrown in by outfits of a purple, pastel pink and blue.

This runway show had the hair parted in the middle and tucked behind the ears, some models had leather fabric tied around the heads. The makeup was natural just contour and foundation with groomed brows, it was a no makeup makeup look.



I like the runway because of the naturalness of the makeup and the fact the clothes are so structured yet still flowy and while it may be mainly black and white clothing I like how there are multiple floral and oriental style patterning going on. This definitely had an impact on trends for this year as a lot of clothing was black or white but still had a pattern on it complementing the monochromatic shade.31
