Today we went a bit designer creating a look suitable for catwalk which is creative liner and black lips.
How to do this look
Using a buffing brush cover anything that is red toned on the skin very lightly with a warmer foundation, then work a little bit of Mac strobe cream into the skin using a buffing brush to create a natural glow, once that is buffed in, go in with a lighter coverage foundation, and then buff into the skin. To set these products lightly dust the skin with a face powder.
Now its time for the lips outline the lips with a black eye pencil or lip pencil if you have one, using an an angle liner brush and your gel eyeliner paint the black onto the lips, then if you wish to make the colour more intense use black grease paint to create a glossy black lip.
My turn
I quite liked the base I created, I feel like in the last couple of weeks I have gotten better at doing bases on different skin tones and types so I was really please about that. I am also getting better at filing in eyebrows and now no longer make them look like they were drawn on by marker which is a very good thing.
I didn't like how the eyes turned out due to the fact that they weren't even and the right eye smudged and I couldn't match it to the design I created on the other side, I am happy however with lips though on one side it seems a bit bigger than the opposite side.
I would definitely change some of the makeup in this looks to make it cleaner and neater but overall I dint think it was terrible for a first attempt so Im not too upset about it.
Now it's time for the eye area first fill in the eyebrows, and then use a base colour to neutralise the natural skin tone and then set this base with a taupe eyeshadow, then lift the eyebrow up and then using a eyeliner or eyeliner gel create your design with the eyeliner.
