Paper

PAPER is a independent magazine based in New York City focused in fashion, culture, nightlife, music, the arts and film, it was founded and launched by Kim Hastreiter and David Hershkovits with Lucy Sisman and Richard Weigand in 1984 as a black and white foldout in the production offices of The New York Times. Nowadays it has a large social media presence as it is on Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest which helps the magazine to connect to its audience which is mainly the younger and young adult generation.

The magazine today has evolved into a monthly print and digital magazine once again being more accessible to the tech savvy younger generation. It also has archives of all its old issue on its website including the articles, photos, interviews and news that was in that issue.
